The issue of Apple selling more micros than IBM at this time is neither here
nor there. IBM has ceased to be the sole main force in the PC world and its
marketshare there are been dropping fast. For these reasons they have begun
to split the personal micro line off from the parent. Heck in Canada they even
make clones (called Ambra's). So Apple shipping 10% of all units is more or
less what has been happening for quite some time. The PC market is an open
one, and people have the freedom to choose amongst many manufacturers. They
are doing just that.
