RTF I believe is "rich text format" which is a sort of word-processor exchange
format that Microsoft developed at one point in an attempt to start a standard
off that could make it easier to port WP documents around.

I'm mailing you a copy of the spec I have; I haven't tried to actually use it
though, so good luck but you're on yer own...
