"White elephant": Something of dubious or limited value.

I don't think CB qualifies. (You're mixing 2 expressions here.)

As for the "elephant in the room", like a few others I assumed
everyone was busy enjoying summer with their families, as csa2 trafic
has been very low for the last month or two.

Of course an update from Steve would be nice, but in the meantime
I'm ... busy enjoying summer with my family. ;-)
