As for what to use, I've never gone wrong with using silicone and
getting rid of all that grease they put on there and leaving a film
coating of silicone on there afterwards. Since there are no moving
parts that heat up and no real reason for dust to flow through the
Disk ][ drive, all that grease thinking they used to do is not needed.
All it does is turn into hard chunks. Nothing jelly like has any
business in there. It's simply not needed.
