Not sure my meter probes are this enough to shimmy into the connector while it's plugged in.
I have 2 more supposedly working drives coming in, and will be ordering a Uni controller card just in case. Will see
what happens then.
I've had drives go flaky in pairs before, but never just a straight no-read situation. One would start giving errors,
then the other would start within a week or so. Then they would go.
