When I insert the card, it acts as if the solder isn't even there. <shrug> (Meaning, it inserts without any problems or noticable difference to the other cards I have that don't have solder.)

However, that slot connector (and any slot connector you have inserted
the card into) is damaged for any normal card.  The spring fingers will
have been bent beyond their yield point, reducing contact pressure for
a normal card.


Michael, How many cards can you name that actually use +12vDC?
