It's probably my fault x2 that there was a lag between the announcement of
ProTerm and it's final release.

Tony and I had exchanged a few e-mails on what to do about the LCP. It used to
be hosted on A2C, but during the transition over from Syndicomm, the project
got lost itself. Kinda ironic... anyway, Tony had determined he was going to
take responsibility for it and like the Six Million Dollar man, make it faster,
better, stronger...

Tony told me straight up what he was doing and, as part of the project, had
landed the big fish -- ProTerm. I was pretty excited by that as I'm sure just
about anyone would have been. ProTerm was going to be the LCP's big premier
grand-reopening announcement. Tony just needed time to put the site together,
collect the content, revise the documentation -- it was a lot of work to take
on.

But, I badgered, harrassed, pestered him on when he was going to make an
announcement. He caved, I think, and posted the announcement too early when he
should have just told me to get bent and wait. Around that time, there was a
great deal of interest in ProTerm in the community (and it's alleged serial
quirks) and I thought the faster ProTerm got out to the community, the better.

But theres more to the story -- the LCP probably would have been up sooner had
I not thrown a potentially huge project at Tony (and Sheppy). The project was
eventually cancelled, but Tony and Sheppy spent time/resources investigating
the project, that Tony could have used on LCP.

So, there it is -- my fault x2.

Bill, I don't get the crankiness aimed at Hugh Hood -- he's just a guy with the
same interests as everyone else here, and a regular contributor to making
things better. And I really don't get the "elitist" tagging either because I've
not seen anyone acting that way. Tony certainly doesn't deserve that. We've had
years now, of great communication and fellowship here and I really hope we can
maintain that.
