Ow! Ow! My head, hitting the table over and over again!

This is exactly what I want to do. I have lots of Mac 9-pin mice. I've
looked inside and agree that it's amazingly simple. These mice do not
work with the IIc. Since I don't have access to a IIc mouse, I don't
know what the differences are. Whatever the critical parameter might
be, the Mac is apparently much less finicky, because according to
everything I've read, /all/ 9-pin mice will work with the Mac, but not
all of them will work with the IIc.
