I was able to update my Jameco order and have some Aries low-profile sockets on the way - along with a couple of 55nsec. SRAMs. Maybe I'll frame the other ones. $40 down the drain...Don't feel to bad .. I paid $20 each for my 2 srams locally before I knew about places like digikey.btw - does Future ship from Canada or do they have a US Wharehouse?
The packages I received came from Chicago. AFAIK, there's no duty on electronic parts, so why should it matter?
