Machines that are full of spyware, machines with slow (5400 RPM or
less - think laptops,) or machines with low RAM.

Or machines with GB of archived/compressed data.. I have ~120 GB ofzips, .tar.gzs and tar.bz2s and a through scan of everything surely cantake the best part of a full day.
