I don't see how/why Uhternet should be tied to IP in any way. It's
just Ethernet. In example you could implement PPPoE if you like.
BTW: Not a great example because it actually does IP but however
showing how small you can get is UDPSlave. You can even type it in
from the keyboard. So maybe not a "full IP stack" can still mean
compatible to IP, which is generally desirable as it greatly
simplifies programming a communication peer using the BSD socket
paradigm on *IX / WIn32 - as UDPSlave demonstrates.
