Isn't the VTOC in DOS a problem? Any black-on-white patch for 400K? This makes for 100 tracks which is more than enough. For DOS 3.3 you prolly just need to rewrite RWTS to handle it?Just skipping the track*2 seek, I hope.
The only patch I've seen is for 800K using a ProDOS block device. There's several of them, one has source (in a few pieces): http://www.txbobsc.com/aal/1986/aal8605.html#a1 http://www.txbobsc.com/aal/1986/aal8607.html#a3 http://www.txbobsc.com/aal/1987/aal8704.html#a2I'm actually trying to figure out how to do this ProDOS block device stuff, so I can write a simple OS for storing single-file games and running them from a menu. (doesn't need write access, can create it from a PC.)
