I could be wrong, but I think the wording "Part II" on the manual is
really a bad translation and is supposed to mean "Version II". The
reason I say this is that the manual does not seem to be a "Part II'
of anything, and the last part of the manual is about changes made to
the software to support new chips. This would also be consistent with
the bad English in the rest of the manual. Even after 20 years, some
things never change :-)
