As I used to have the BBS setup to use a second monitor that displayed
stats and metrics. A Videx card in another slot was the source of that
display and it was in a IIgs. So.. yes.

AFAIR, some manual stated that earlier Videx cards work in all slots, but later models can work only in slot 3.

I think the physical slot#3 takes precedence over the built-in C300 ROM space, but I'm not sure if the built-in C300 ROM space is in any way needed for access to AUX RAM by any OS or application.
