Hi zzjoki,

I always thougth that if I needed more //e speed I could use a IIgs in
the //e mode.

I heard that some folks use to use the IIgs almost exclusively in
the //e mode (but that was before I was involved).

Could I use the IIgs as if it were a 3x accelerated //e and not
notice the difference except for the box and keyboard?

(or maybe I should just "man up" and buy an accelerator (somehow) for
the //e. )

Put a ROM1 motherboard in my //e case after the //e motherboard died:

Mainly use it with DOS33 apps via the flashdisk card.

Have been using it recently to archive some 3.5" disks though.

Have been tinkering with FPGA based Apple2 computing recently,
seems a fun way to go. (Thanx Alex F!)
