This is how I got involved in AppleCommander. I needed cross-platform, 
command-line Pascal support; it was easier to add features than start 
over.

I admire Andy's decision to go open source. He's set a high standard, 
and CiderPress fans are loyal largely because of his continued efforts.

You might look at AppleCommander. It runs under 1.4+, and the command 
line version runs under 1.3.
