Colouring for the IIgs - Now in Beta 4!!

OK,

It was only 3 days ago I was telling you about Colouring for the IIgs
beta 3 and how great it was - forget it, it wasn't so special, its old
news anyhow. Grab beta 4 instead! :-)

Beta 4 improves on beta 3 by adding a new graphical theme selection
screen which is returned to once a selected game is exited. This is in
response to the feedback I received. An added bonus of being a
graphical application is that it runs immediately after booting (you
no longer have to select it from the program selector).

It took me about 8 months to go from beta 2 to beta 3, yet it only
took 3 days to go from beta 3 to beta 4. Go figure.

Although it may look like little has changed, believe me, there is
significant changes going on in the background to warrant going from
beta 3 to beta 4. I had to change much of the initialisation code, not
to mention the order things are done. Also, I had to spend ages making
sure that all the memory I was allocating was being released correctly
prior to starting a new game. There were several memory leaks
initially, but I believe I've found them all now (I managed to run
about 30 different games without any noticeable memory issues).

Anyway, enough of my rambling. Enjoy beta 4!

Oh yeah, you can still grab it here:

As always, suggestions and bug findings are always welcome.

Cheers,
