I would not say that all are different. Many cards use the simple
"divide drive into 32MB partitions" scheme as this requires no on-
board RAM to store the partition info during operation.

My Cirtech SCSI cards use this method, as does the CFFA.

Is that what the CMS card uses in later ROM revs? I seem to recall
that some ROM versions use the many jumpers on the card to select
partition sizes and offsets.
