I noticed the many hardware-related project, too, but they are
a welcomed change from the very frequent "how to transfer
files/disks to/from the Apple platform" posts.
There are certainly "software people" holding back their works
until they are either ready for release or they are at least
confident that they will definitely see the daylight at some point.
Especially when they tackle something big and still have to learn
a lot. ;-)
