Well, here's an idea but keep in mind that I don't know what I'm talking
about :-)
I think maybe one of the internet nameservers is not resolving the name to
the right IP address.
The IP address listed for www.apple2info.net is 208.115.37.2. When I enter
http://208.115.37.2 directly into my browser (Firefox) I get a message that:
"The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was successfully installed on this
website."
It goes on to say (among other things) that if that is not what you expect
to see you should contact the webmaster@domain.
If I enter http://www.apple2info.net I get "Server not found".
While neither seems right I would think they should at least be the same.
I'm wondering if the site doesn't have a static IP address and there is a
delay in updating the nameservers when it changes.
Do different internet providers use the same nameservers? Could it be we
are in the same area (I'm just NorthEast of Philadelphia, Pa) and even with
different providers we get stuck with the same nameserver?
