I've been procrastinating on a project to create a power connector for
my NCS drive for a while (lost the cables). There was a request for
the pinouts from an old newsgroup posting --
http://groups.google.com/group/comp.sys.apple2/browse_thread/thread/f000217a90f2f4d5/6af46ab15fb41416,
but I have not the time to start on the project.
The power connector looks to be smaller than the DIN-5 used in the TMS
Shadow disks as Mitch described above. It also does not have a
similar pinout to the other mini-DINs I know of. I'm curious if the
pinouts described are correct and if it's a matter of straight-through
cabling from the disk port.
OT: I'm surprised the auction went for that high a price, considering
that you'd also need a SCSI interface card to use the drive (the disk
port connector is only used for power).
