Well, maybe "shake" is not the right word. I get this vertically moving
moire effect on the left and right border of colored areas, caused (as I
assume) by a beating wave ("Schwebung" in German, I'm not sure this
translation is correct) created from the superposition of the frequency
of the two quartzes.

I can minimize it by tuning L7 (3.56 MHz filter) on the PAL IIe board
and get it to move as fast as possible by very carefully tuning C112
(PAL color burst frequency), so that I don't see it as long as I give it
a fixed stare. But when I move my eyes up or down a bit it's still very
visible. Since I got this with both a PAL II+ encoder board and a PAL
IIe, and also with two very different TV sets (both 50Hz CRT though), I
thought it was pretty universal. Though I guess you wouldn't have it on
a LCD TV since it moves too fast.
