I know I'm setting myself up for trouble by saying (typing?) this out
loud, but:
I've never had any problems with the OEM //e power supply with a
transwarp //e and a fully stocked machine. I mean, I had my //e on for
24/7 for 4 years with a TW//e along with a slinky card, set of
floppies, mouse card, buffered grappler, and SSC. Now the same machine
has a 1M RamWorks and a Liron card as well - still no problems.
That said, this machine has always had a Kensington System Saver, even
from 1985. Perhaps your problems are heat-related?
