It's funny that you mention that, since as I was typing that I was thinking about how a "cut down" would work! For an IDC connector, that would remove one end of the clamp, which would be an issue, but one could certainly create a 19-pin body that way, and use solder cup pins/sockets. -michael NadaPong: Network game demo for Apple II computers!
