Hey all,
Just wondering what are all the currently available (brand new) options
for Ethernet cards for the Apple II platform?
Now, I realize that probably the Apple IIgs is the one model that actually
has a bit of software support for such a thing (Telnet, FTP, ????)...???
Does anybody here have an Apple //e 'enhanced' or Apple IIe 'extended' aka
'platinum' hooked up with an Ethernet card....perhaps to a UNIX/LINUX box
or by some other means?
I'm thinking of hooking up one of my Apple II models to my Linksys
DSL/Cable Broadband Router (which has at this point only Power Mac G3's
and PowerBook G3's running Mac OS 9.2.2).
Just for the record, I have all models in the Apple II family (except for
the orginal Apple ][...used to have one but sold it), but I do have ALL
the others including a ROM 01 and ROM 3 Apple IIgs....even a IIe
emulation card in my Mac LC 475. My favourite of the bunch though is
probably the real Apple //e or maybe the 'platinum' IIe.
