The power supply probably dies 10 years ago. I don't even know whether
the SCSI card, the harddisk, the clock and even the System Saver still
work, probably not.

But the same GS harddisk, live in a 32MB disk image, lives on till
today, on my iMac.

With the exception of the battery for the clock, I'd be willing to
bet that your machine and all its electronics would power up and
run today.

For all practical purposes (meaning human lifetimes) solid state
electronics (that don't run too hot) last forever. The occasional
"random" failure occurs, but they are quite rare.

"Wearout" is almost never an issue for low- to medium-density chips.

I guess I don't consider replacing a power supply to be
anything major--though I don't know what happened to your machine.
