Re: Getting files into and out of KEGS...how?

I can't help you with your specific problem but if you are just looking
for KEGS access to the host system files on the linux box I would
suggest using Basilisk, a 68K Mac emulator, as a go-between.

Basilisk does allow access to the host system and can create disk Images
as well

What I did was create a 32meg HD image and formated it in PRODOS,
transfer files from the host system using Basilisk to the image, then
mount the image in KEGS where it becomes available to the virtual GS.
Reverse the procedure to get files out.

BTW All the caveats of using a Mac for transferring files to a GS, ie:
adding resource forks, etc, applies in the virtual world as well as the
real one.

I think you will find Basilisk readily available OL in a google search.

Best,

Pete
