My MPF-III clone IIe system has a 1/2 height 5.25" drive with a
working track zero sensor. The silence when that system booted was
blissful. It turns out that the drive is a fairly standard PC style
unit with an adapter board to convert Disk ][ 4 phase seeks into step
and direction signals.
