I've finally gotten the equipment together that should allow me to start
imaging my stuff, but I've hit a stumbling block.
Client is an enhanced //e with a SSC. Jumper block is set to Terminal
and switches as recommended in the ADTPro docs.
Server side is a PowerPC Mac running OS X 10.4.10.
Connection is a straight 9-pin to 25-pin serial cable connected to a
Keyspan USA-19Qi USB/Serial adapter. I downloaded and installed the
current driver this morning.
When I tell ADTPro to use the Keyspan serial device, it reports that the
port is in use (and the dump in the terminal window reiterates that in
great detail).
I don't see anything using the serial adapter via lsof. A terminal
program is able to send to the //e fine.
Any advice on where to turn?
