Hello. I just tried CiderPress for the first time. Because I only run Debian on my computer I ran it using WINE. CiderPress installed and ran perfectly. I thought I'd mention this for anyone using Linux, or considering the switch.
Yeah, it's been mentioned a time or two but hey, more advertising for Linux. :) Oh, it also runs in Cedega (originally WineX).
One drawback though, I can't access my CFFA card properly. The system recognizes the media but not the partition on it. Trying several different access points with the WINE configuration ends up with a disk error or 'ram disk not supported'. For me, this is not a big problem. I have a uthernet card to transfer files with. It is however an annoyance that the problem exists, after all it is Linux. :) I suppose I could use another method such as a pc emulator with usb access but I don't think it's worth the effort.
