All items work, except i can not confirm that the adapter I have
works.
CF cards work and the focus drive works. ( i got another hard drive
and its working)
So, I now have to assume that it is the cf adapter that is the culprit
to this issue.

Supposedly Tony Diaz had this working properly.  I emailed him but he
never returned any emails.  Not sure if this is like him to just not
respond and ignore someone in need of help.  Where is he anyways?
Haven't seen a helping post from him in here in a while...

John, Thanks for your concern.  Its got to definitely be the adapter.
I will get another one do further testing and get back to everyone
here so that we all can learn something new.

BTW- The brand of CF adapter that I have is by Addonics.
