I believe the OP is talking about using a CF-to-IDE adapter with the Vulcan.
Those 20-year-old hard drives the Vulcan can use aren't going to last
forever. Firmware to work with newer IDE devices would be nice, but is it
worth the investment when there are other mass-storage solutions already
available? I don't know if it would even be possible, I know the Vulcan
liked those special 8-bit IDE HD's like those found in the IBM XT, can the
hardware handle standard 16-bit IDE?
