Textfiles dates this log at March 1985. Apparently, Apple had just
closed a few manufacturing plants, and IBM had dropped the PCjr. The
off-the-cuff predictions were as hilariously brainless as anything
you'd see today. The only one close to being on-target was a warning
to not count IBM out of the home computer market quite yet; we're all
inheritors of their legacy, even Mac users since the Intel switch.
(And of course only one of the companies mentioned in those messages
is actually still making computers today.) ;)
