Thanks Mark. I did take a look. And while looking I realized that the null modem cable I have is NOT going to be sufficient. I am kind of a doofus, I forgot the IIGS has a round DIN style serial port on it. Sigh. ADTPro looks like it would work well if I did actually have the appropriate cables for it.
I only very bought a cable advertised as: PRINTER/MODEM CABLE DB25 MALE TO 8 PIN MALE MINI DIN.APPLE II/IIE + IIE TO IMAGE WRITER II or IIGS. MAC PLUS, SE, II/IIX/IICX TO MODEM CABLE
