The whole idea is a bit of a hack, but a good one. I hope none of us took a pristine IIe case to cut up. So, I'm going to run a bit with this thread and see if anyone else has found a good off-the-shelf paint match for the original plastic color. Since the case I used was quite yellowed and ugly, I decided spray paint would improve it's appearance a bit. I settled on Rust-oleum's American Classic Fossil color. Slightly more grey and less yellow, it is close, and you have to really look to see the difference between a very slightly yellowed case and the painted one. Anyone else find a good match?
