Why would anyone do that? It seems like a hard way to go about it.
Just crack it open in a hex editor and have a look. Especially where
the 'important' boundaries are. eg 16k, and see if any of the code matches
any other known patterns. Ie mirror of bottom 16k, slot rom etc.
