*Very* true!  HP and Epson are going to amazing lengths to keep you
from refilling inkjet and toner cartridges, and to make sure you have
to buy new inkjet cartridges regularly whether you use them or not.
Which is why I'm using a Canon photo inkjet which I can easily
refill...

It really makes you appreciate the Imagewriters, plus you get that
authentic retro-computing sound:
