Re: ShadowGate Questions (Apple IIgs)
Oh I'm very familiar with those games. I've pretty much played all the
mainstream adventure games for the Apple II at one time or another
(from Zork to Kings Quest IV). I was always ticked off that the ICOM
adventure games never came out for the Apple II, only the GS. I used
to play them on my school's Mac during computer class. I knew that
they came out for the NES, but they were severely edited and
graphically reduced. Finally I can play them in color and with decent
graphics.
I find it amazing that they play so slow without a transwarp though.
There really isn't much going on during the game other than static
pictures with the occasional animation.
