If you're going to replace the drive then I'd recommend getting an
adapter for a Compact Flash card.  This is what I did for my //e.  It
cost me $1 + S&H for the adapter plus $5 + S&H for a 256MB CF card.  I
picked up all the parts on eBay.

The advantage to this is:

- your //e now runs silent, no hard drive noise.
- the CF card gives off very little heat.
  (I assume this means it draws less power)
- CF cards can be purchased new.
- (anybody thing of anything else?)

I bet Bill Garber has it on his web site.  If he doesn't he probably
could be talked into putting it up.

Be advised that the Focus Format utility requires a IIgs running GSOS.
Once your drive is partitioned then you can use it in a //e.
