I got homebrew to work. I downloaded "URI Quest" (one of the largest
ones available), converted the files over and gave them a .BIN file
extension, and then used the interpreter from Leisure Suit Larry (I
think -- all I remember is that the King's Quest 4 interpreter did not
work). The sound was goofy and garbled but the game indeed does work.

I have yet to try Manhunter 2 -- I sooo wanted that game on the IIgs,
and wound up playing it years later on the PC through DOSBox.
