What's the latest Mac model/System ver. that can write Apple IIgs images?

I got a $20 Mac SE Superdrive from ebay and use it to remote boot the IIgs . I also use it to make 800k Floppies for the IIgs (I attached an external 800k drive)
Usually I use my eMac to download disk images from the WEB.
Drop the images or write the extracted images on a 1.44 MB floppy which can be read by the SE. The SE can then put it on the 800k floppies or store it in a directory which can be accessed by the IIgs via Apple Talk.

I am looking for a Ethernet card for my SE so that I can eliminate the floppy jogging, if someone on the list has one to give away I will be happy to take it:-)

Maybe it's time to upgrade...to a IIci or IIfx :)

Nubus ethernet cards are pretty easy to come by on ebay.

My IIci arrived, and it is a really beautiful machine. It disassembles like lego blocks! AND it happily reads and writes everything from Prodos 800KB to IBM 1.44MB.

It even matches the IIgs! Apple's visual designs really hit their peak in the late 80's IMHO.
