I also try to connect a Apple IIgs to a Mac running OS X. The Keyspan 
USB2serial adapter works, the Java-program is running and the transfer 
of the dos33.dmp seems to work. The transfer ends in the monitor 
program. Is this OK?
The next step would be to create a DOS3.3 bootdisk after the transfer 
of the dos33.dmp file. There is a 3,5" and a 5,25" connected to my IIgs 
and it has a harddisk, which boots GSOS 6.01. Now I have a silly 
question: How can I be sure, that the "INIT HELLO" command creates a 
5,25" disk and no 3,5" disk or even worse, erases the harddisk?
