I can adjust the colors, yes.  But I can not get the right colors to
display.

Where on the board is that located?  And I am using an old Commodore
moitor that works fine with my other Apple ][s.

Yes I also tried it with my TV and got the same result.

Yes, the same monitor works with my ][ (rev 3), other ][+, IIgs, and
//c+.
