Yes, it's possible. If you write an Apple program to do so.

The interface can read/write any physical "sector" on the SD card. So it
should
not be too hard to write such a program. However it is probably much easier
to
do this on a PC/Mac or a Linux box.

There are DIP switches on the board that can select a NIB image. It is
possible
to make a switch external, but may not look good.

Any key combination must be programmed on Apple: the interface board doesn't
see the Apple keyboard.
