Re: For the fun of it

Im the ripe old age of 36.

My first machine, which my father bought, was an Apple ][+ (w/ 2 disc
][ drives, z80 card, 80 column card, and Castle Wolfenstein as our
first game) back in 1981. I ended up using it so much, my dad
eventually got himself an Apple ][e and then enhanced it later on.
As tgime went on, I got a upper/lower case 40 column rom (not the hack
just the display), and mockingboard, gibson lightpen, various modems,
speech card, and a Sider drive. Even ran a BBS back in the 818.
Later on I added the //e to my room and dad got a woz //gs.

Still wish we had those original machines. Dad eventually upgraded us
all to Macs and then to intel PCs (as that is what they had at work).

This brings up a question on the 40 column rom upper/lower case hack.
The friend who burned me the rom and different fonts for it. Was just
wondering, for my own curiosity, is those are still availabe
somewhere??
