IIGS storage

I just managed to get an Apple IIGS in fairly decent condition from my
old grade school. I picked up the matching monitor, keyboard, and one
each of 3.5" and 5.25" floppy drives, but the other pair of said drives
were thrown away by the time I got back to pick some more stuff up.
I've heard rumors that GS/OS will run in a minimal state on an 800K
floppy, but that would leave me with only the 5.25" drive to run
programs and store data on -- and of course finding 5.25" diskettes is
slightly harder than 3.5s these days.

I'm looking for a cheap way to come into a IIGS-compatible hard drive.
There's a 350MB internal hard drive on eBay for $150, which is about
$140 more than I can ideally afford at the moment (I believe in the
concept of "free as in beer"), but I can't find much evidence of
external drives or anything cheap at all. Does anyone have
recommendations for where/from whom to buy a decent HD, or if there are
other, more readily-available HDs that are compatible with the IIGS? It
gets boring when all you can do is have the computer shout "Apple II!"
after all. :)
