Got my IIe Platinum from an elementary school few years ago. They had a
little sale one weekend. Even advertised in the paper. I got there early!

Martin, I'd say the base of hobbyists and collectors for the Apple II
(and other 8-bits) is growing tremendously.  I've watched the vintage
computer category on eBay grow from a few hundred items per week to a
few thousand in the last few years.  Plus we're seeing new products, web
sites, even podcasts devoted to the Apple II.  It's great!
