Re: A2 on eBay



Sean caught this but the date code does indicate 14th week of 1978 for
the motherboard to roll off the line. When would that be?  Early April?
 Given that it was probably sold in the May / June 1978 time frame.
The case serial number still looks about right to me.  I know that when
Val Golding bought his Apple ][ in December 1977 he got a serial number
in the 800's.  I don't think the Apple ][ was a serious seller until
the introduction of the Diks ][ mid 1978.

Look for a Integer Basic Firmware Card on eBay.  I got one not too long
ago for about $5 + S&H.  The ROMs there are identical to what would
have shipped with that unit.

Please post pics!  I'd love to see what you have along with all the
items that came with it.
