The only thing I've heard is that it will work with "early" IIes, which
I've always taken to mean "unenhanced"...
My main impetus for installing it in the IIe was to run the software from
a CFFA... I've since moved my CFFA to the ][+ and found out that the
Syntauri software has issues with DOS.Master, so I really don't have any
reason to tempt fate again ;-)
On a bit of tangent: it's my considered opinion that DOS 3.3 is the real
limiting factor for the alphaSyntauri (and the DX-1). Having access to
fast mass-storage devices would greatly improve the utility of the
hardware... It's been in the back of my mind to write a better sequencer
for the DX-1, though I think ProDOSifying the Syntauri software might be a
more ambitious project.
