I think what they're trying to achieve is very similar, but implemented
very differently.
The SVD uses an external computer to load the images. It would be very
nice to have only one device (a card in a slot ideally) which you could
copy or unpack images from the host Apple II and then play them. Once
again, the limitation is how to "flip" the floppies. On a GS, perhaps
this can be done through the Control Panel, however on a IIe a physical
switch would be required. As it was mentioned before, for multi sided
games you'd have to be able to preload all of the sides. (I think the
latest Kings Quest was the largest with something like 12+ sides)
